Dangerous situations can occur without warning, which makes it important to offer quick response when emergency response is required. Wessex Demolition provide a quick response to emergencies such as fire damaged and structurally unstable buildings.

We were called in to make safe the badly fire damaged building, this required removing the buckled steel roof structure to the main building, clearing all debris within the first floor and demolishing damaged internal and external walls. This was carried out under a tight timescale, which was completed on time for Kier Group.

Works included the safe removal and disposal of asbestos cement contaminated waste and demolition of the remainder of the building.

Fire damaged the building making exterior walls unstable. The neighbouring building had a busy driveway in regular use. We had to work around this, erecting scaffolding to stabilise the wall and at the same time allow traffic to use the narrow alleyway. The building was made safe without any problems arising.
